The Pan-African Youth Film Festival opens its doors from December 10 to 13, 2025. For this first edition, 24 cinematographic works, presented as ‘wonderful and inspiring for African youth,’ will be screened. Also on the program: a symposium dedicated to the challenges of African creation and the presentation of two major awards, those for Best Feature Film and Best Short Film, rewarding the excellence of seventh art professionals. Author of several films and promoter of the festival, Mary-Noël Niba discusses the choice to place youth at the heart of this unprecedented event, a choice she considers essential for the future of African cinema. »
